Senior Nursing Students Give Back to the Community
Donations for Haven House
IUN School of Nursing senior students are collecting donations for Haven House Family Advocacy Center. Haven House is a local domestic violence shelter that serves victims and their dependents. It provides services to Hammond, East Chicago, Munster, Whiting, Griffith, and Highland. Haven House relies mainly on grants, donations, and volunteers to provide its services. We are placing a collection box outside the Nursing Lab on the first floor of the Dunes Medical Professions building. We will be taking collections for the Haven House from April 1, 2013 through April 15, 2013.
