I have a bachelor's degree in English and creative writing from the University of Iowa and a master's degree in teaching from Calumet College of Saint Joseph. While I was in college, I also had two minors: Spanish and philosophy. Not only am I fluent in Spanish, but I enjoy working with students who are learning to be bilingual speakers. Additionally, I have the amazing experience of having my fiction and nonfiction writing published. I think the two most important qualities a good tutor should have is enthusiasm and creativity; students will not only appreciate learning with creative and different approaches, but they will see that learning can and should be fun when their tutor is enthusiastic. In my free time, I enjoy creative writing, reading, singing, and performing spoken-word poetry from my current home in Chicago, Illinois....
