I became a tutor because I enjoy helping students and watching them succeed. I obtained my bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College. While I was there, I tutored students in algebra, calculus and statistics in the learning center. Tutoring has taught me how to explain topics to different types of students. I too have faced many challenges in my undergraduate coursework, so I understand the feeling of inadequacy.
