I realize this review is a little overdue, but this wasn’t available when I was a student in the late 1980s. I loved Dr. Wyzinski! I knew so little about math, simply because when I went to high school, only one math class was required. Dr. Wyzinski took my empty brain and filled it with everything I needed to be successful. He had an open door policy and many were the days my friend and I went to see him after class to be re-instructed in those things we still did not understand. He was always joyful, always helpful. What I remember most about him was his enthusiasm for his subject matter. He lived math, and I wanted to love it, too! I didn’t, but I sure wanted to! Without Dr. Wyzinski, I’d never have been successful in college or my career. He was a wonderful human being and it was a privilege to be in his classroom.
awful teacher. Cant hear him because he mumbles, extremely rude and thinks he is funny. Not the case. This old man needs to retire. Im not sure why he works there still. Oh wait, because he gives everyone extra credit and take homes test so everyone passes. Unfortunately these students do not learn anything and IUN keeps him because his ratings are somewhat okay and students pass. They need to investigate how he works his classroom.
Worst prof. in my 2 years here. Rude. Mathematician..not a teacher. Regardless of how intelligent he is, he's incomprehensible and down right mean!
friendly man, Definately on your side. He realizes not everyone likes math and he trys to make it as simple as possible for you. Lots of take home quizes and extra credit assignment. Still, moves to quickly can barely understand him.
Made me way more scared of math than I already was. Dropped his class and took it with Dr. Kilibarda, getting an A. |
